Day 1
Cairo Welcome to Cairo, the city of mysterious pyramids and
pharaohs, tombs and temples and more than 6000 years of
history. Our representative will meet you at the airport and
transport you to your hotel in Cairo. This evening you will
meet your tour leader (and fellow travellers), who will
brief you about the next few days of your journey.
Day 2
Cairo The morning is spent visiting the Giza Plateau to
explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and
Mycrenos. In the afternoon we will head our way to Sakkara,
the first capital of ancient Egypt, famous for its step
pyramid built by King Zoser in 2700 B.C. In the evening
we’ll board the overnight train to Aswan.
Day 3
Aswan Our day starts with the discovery of the High Dam
before visiting the Philae Temple - dedicated to the Goddess
Isis - and the unfinished Obelisk.
Day 4
Aswan Today we join a Felucca Cruise to visit the
Elephantine and Kitchener Islands on Nile. You have the rest
of the day free to explore Aswan on your own.
Day 5
Aswan, Komombo, Edfu, Luxor After breakfast we make our way
to the Komombo Temple which was built during the Ptolemaic
and Roman periods. The temple is dedicated to the crocodile
god Sobek and god Horus. We then continue to Edfu to visit
the largest and best preserved temple in Egypt. The temple
is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and was built over a
180-year period from 237 BC to 57 BC.
Day 6
Luxor, Karnak Today we visit the temple of Luxor on the East
Bank of the Nile which was dedicated to the great god Amun,
his wife Mut and their son Khonsu (the mood god) - together
representing the Theban triad. The temple was built on the
site of a probable smaller structure for the god Amun, while
the earliest parts of the temple seen today date from the
14th century BC and the time of Amenhotep III. In the
afternoon we proceed to the Temple of Karnak, one of the
most important religious centres in the ancient Egypt.
Day 7
Luxor, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Cairo After
breakfast we depart for the West Bank of the Nile ,Valley of
the Kings through quiet roads with captivating views of the
Nile.we start our explore this magnificent site, “the city
of the Dead”, where majestic tombs were carved into the
desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures
for the afterlife of the Pharaohs. Rising out of the desert
plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen
Hatshepsut will be our next stop. This evening we board our
overnight train to Cairo.
Day 8
Cairo Our journey continues with a visit to one of the most
important museums in the world, the Egyptian Museum, which
houses more than 100.000 relics of ancient Egypt. Today we
also explore the Citadel of Saladin, Mosque of Mohamed Ali,
the Hanging Church and the world famous Kahn El Khalili
bazaar.
Day 9
Cairo Our trip ends after breakfast in Cairo. Our
representative will transport you to the airport.

Tres bonne traversée du désert, d'oasis en oasis, ambiance
sympa. Toute l'équipe a fait tout son possible pour nous
satisfaire, tres prévenant et soucieux de notre bien-etre, à

voyage enrichissant au niveau culturel mais aussi et surtout

Our experience with marvelous egypt was fantastic. The
service was absolutely first rate. The accommodations were
great and so were the tour guides. We were so pleasantly
surprised at the incredible service for such a reasonable
price. Sama was so attentive. By the end of the trip, we
would joke that he was always 5 minutes early and he was
there even when we didn't expect him to be. He was great.

Nous avons longuement hésité entre partir avec un tour
opérator ou avec marvelous egypt. Fort heureusement, nous
avons décidé de faire confiance à marvelous egypt pour nous
organiser notre séjour en basse Egypte. Tout a été parfait!
Nous avons été pris en charge dès notre arrivée à l'aéroport
(au milieu de la nuit). L'organisation a été PARFAITE: choix
des hotels, du guide (merci Hemed), du chauffeur de taxi,
des visites, des restaurants, vraiment rien à redire!

Depuis notre enfance que nous voulions aller en Egypte et
voilà c'est fait ! Sans eux... ce voyage aurait été ...
l'enfer ! A la dernière minute, nous avons été laché par
notre organisateur qui devait s'occuper de nous. La veille
de notre départ, un petit mail pour nous dire qu'il ne
pouvais pas nous prendre et ... bon séjour en Egypte ! La
catastrophe ! Nous avons immédiatement contacté Céline de
marvelous egypt et tout a été mis en place pour notre séjour
avec voiture, chauffeur, guide, etc. Tout ceci à ... moins
de 24 heures de notre arrivée ! FELICITATIONS et longue vie
